How care attendants can help

  • Personal care
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Keeping your home clean and tidy
  • Keeping your home safe
  • Contacting people to carry out repairs
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Managing your money
  • Taking your medication
  • Planning special events
  • Emotional support, either long term or in an emergency
  • Gaining independence skills
  • Overnight support - waking support or someone sleeping in overnight for emergency

We help people with a disability, or those who are ill or frail, to live independently in their own homes. Our personal care and support is available to children, adults and their families.

The level of support provided is tailored to the needs of each person. For example, younger disabled people often live alone and assistance from ourselves enables them to go out to work, attend college or use day services.

All of our care attendants are fully trained and 'matched' to the client.

What the people we support say about us:

  • "The service is invaluable"
  • "A very positive experience"
  • "It is an immense relief to know they are coming"
  • "I am happy that things are being done that I can't do myself"
  • "(Your) carers manage to combine a high level of efficiency with a real understanding and kindness"
